We are a minority owned local construction firm with an unmatched commitment to quality and customer service. Our founder is a certified project manager with experience leading complex high value projects under tight constraints. A seasoned investor, home owner, developer with years of experience building value through renovating, remodeling, budgeting and creative price conscious solutions for home owners throughout New York with a family legacy of doing same.
OUR PHILOSOPHY on work is built around you, the customer. I started this company as a response to all the poor treatment I received as a young investor and customer in the past. I would buy a house and be told it was great. Then 2 months later the basement would flood from sewage or rain, or the ceiling would fall from roof leaks. I would hire a contractor and they would promise good work but in the end, would leave a poorly finished work product. When I call back for fixes, they would disappear. So I started doing the repairs myself. And it didn’t hurt that my father, with 25 years experience in home construction, and my stepfather, with 40 years of experience in construction as a master carpenter, mason worker, and roofer were around to pitch in. Then we started getting similar stories from neighbors and friends. We went from rescuing ourselves to helping to rescue others with a diehard commitment to being the change we wanted to see from contractors in the community. And that is how All Purpose Home Improvement was born.
OUR MISSION is simple: Be helpful, solve problems, and be reasonable and kind while you do it. No Matter the problem with your home we will work diligently to find a solution and implement it.
And in the odd chance you don’t hire us, we will still give you our recommendations for free and even give you tips on how to avoid being taken advantage of by any other contractor. The goal of business is to make money, but bigger than that the goal of life is to do good and leave people happy. See you soon!
IN THE BEGINNING
We started out working on our own investment properties and those of our colleagues and eventually worked with homeowners to implement repairs and mitigate damages. These jobs were small to medium in nature and ranged from sheetrock repair to water damage or small flooring repair jobs and so on. We honed our craft over the years and sharpened our focus to deliver good service, quality effective solutions, and implement satisfaction drivers. As a professional Project manager by trade building a methodology for consistent results and continued growth was important.
NOW A DAYS
With a good grasp of our philosophy of service and Modis Operandi in hand to deliver it, we have packaged it here to deliver it to our community and to you. Whether we are installing a new deck, upgrading your bathroom and kitchen or even renovating an entire 5-bedroom apartment building from basement to roof the touch is the same. After now being in business for a few years and having done what seems like countless renovations and solutions we have the data to justify that delivery of good customer-focused service pays. the best business I find is repeat business and referred business.
